Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and Bookish.
1.) Love and Other Unknown Variables- I love the cover on this one, and I have a copy of it thankfully. I'll hopefully read this one soon, but it just got a little lost in the review stack for a bit last year.
2.) Sublime-Ditto the above!
3.) The Infinite Sea- I love this series so much, and I need to get this one!!
4.) Winterspell- As a retelling, this one is right up my alley, and I have a feeling I'll be ready to kick myself for not reading it sooner once I start it.
5.) The Queen of the Tearling- I love this cover, and I love the description. I think this is an Adult but with YA crossover appeal, but regardless, it's priced as Adult and that means more expensive. I've stared longingly at it, but it always seemed to come down to getting another book or putting one back if I decided to not get this one/get it.

6.) Ashes to Ashes- I absolutely adore this series, and I've been eager to read this series ender!! But it, like the other piles of non-review books, got pushed wayyy to the side. Hopefully that will change this year. :)

7.) The Falconer- I actually had this one on its way to me, then the post office lost it. It was last tracked like 8 hours away from me, but I never got it or like 10 of the other books in that package (somewhat thankfully they were a box of review books, so at least I didn't lose any money, but I also never got to review them). Then, the same thing happened with another package of review books (though at a different 8 or so hours away last-tracked location) a few weeks after, and I became very disillusioned with the postal service for a while.

8.) The Princess in Black- I love Shannon Hale, and this just looks adorable. I just never got around to reading it.

9.) Atlantia- I really meant to read this one (and the price on Amazon was very tempting), but I always seemed to hesitate when buying it. I really didn't like how the Matched series ended, and maybe my subconscious is hesitant about falling for another series from the author and being disappointed in the end. That coupled with the lack of reviews I've seen for it, it just never got read. The premise is super intriguing though, so we'll see in 2015.

10.) The Winter People- I have a really weird love for stories that have winter in them (I had a big obsession with The Snow Queen when I was a kid, so maybe that's why), and I'm dying to read this one! It just hasn't happened yet.

Ohhh The Falconer! Heard mixed things about it but that cover alone makes me want to read it lol. I'm also really excited to hopefully get a copy of The Queen of the Tearling soon. It's been highly recommended to me :)
ReplyDeleteI read The Infinite Sea last year and it was so good! Loved it.
ReplyDeleteOOoh nice! I still need to read Queen of the Tearling and Atlantia too! Though hearing some negative things about Atlantia, so kinda scared to read it at all now! Hope you love all these once you read them!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I still need to read Queen of the Tearling too! I actually have it sitting next to me and I'm hoping to start it soon!!
ReplyDeleteThe Falconer and Winterspell are two MUST READS Samantha! I read them and loved them and I hope you'll love them too!
Love and Other Unknown Variables was my first read of 2015 and it set the bar pretty high. I would move it to the top of the TBR pile ;)
ReplyDeleteThe Infinite Sea was on my list as well!
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Top 10
I've got Atlantia on my TTT this week too. I haven't read anything else by the author, but I thought it sounded really interesting. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint either of us!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT!
Checking yes to all the same sort of excuses for not getting to a myriad of books I wanted to read and didn't. That is all the excuses, but the post office. Nope, a few close calls, but not actual loss. Only the Falconer is a shared one, but I'm intrigued by a few others there.
ReplyDeleteSo many of these could have been on my list. Honestly, I think I could have easily come up with a top thirty this week!

Oh! I should have remembered to add The Infinite Sea to my list!
ReplyDeleteThe cover is great, isn't it?! It just screams kick butt main character.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear!! I loved The 5th Wave, and I was hoping the sequel wouldn't be disappointing. :)
ReplyDeleteI seriously think I've seen maybe one review of Atlantia (blogger wise), and it was a 'meh'. I need to do some more digging. :)
ReplyDeleteOh yay!! I love when books are must reads, because it makes it easier to buy those first. :) I hope you like Queen of the Tearling! Tell me how it is!
ReplyDeleteCool!!! I think it might be my next read actually. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! List buddies!!
ReplyDeleteI agree! If the premise didn't sound so darn cool, then I really might not have looked into it, but it does and I can't resist!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard having to prioritize books sometimes, because it almost always causes some to get lost in the TBR pile. I actually have another book package on the way that I think should have been here already but isn't. I'm really hoping I'm not having a repeat of before.
ReplyDeleteI feel ya! I just went through my Goodreads shelves and picked the top ten or so, because there were wayyyyyy too many that I would have had to pick from.
ReplyDeleteThat was one of the first ones I thought of! I kept seeing so many good reviews for it, and I wanted to read it so badly after The 5th Wave.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even know Love and Other Unknown Variables was a thing, but it looks so cute I now want a copy!
ReplyDeleteWINTERSPELL!!!! One of my all time fav books of 2014. I can't book-push it enough on people. I got Queen of the Tearling from my TBTB Secret Santa this year. I haven't read it yet, but it is the most beautiful hardcover book I've ever owned. Totally worth the money. I haven't heard of The Winter People, but I also find myself drawn to books with winter. I think it's the colors. I love the blue and grays. I'll have to check The Winter People out.
