Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and Bookish.
3.) The Beautiful and the Cursed by Page Morgan- I've been eying this one for so long, and I had planned to check it out from my library this summer, but the copy was lost. Now, I just need to buy it and finally read it. Plus, I love the author's name. Makes me think of The Prince & Me where they all start shouting, "Page Morgan!".

4.) Unthinkable by Nancy Werlin- I loved Impossible, and I was ecstatic when I heard about this companion.

5.) Indelible by Dawn Metcalf- Another one I've been drooling over for a while, just haven't bought yet.

6.) Unremembered by Jessica Brody- This one looks so cool, and I think I heard something about a possible movie adaption?? Need to read.

7.) Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake- This is another author I've been really meaning to read (I already have a copy of Antigoddess), and I've heard such good things about this series.

8.) The Cuckoo's Calling by J.K. Rowling (under pen name)- I feel like I'm in the minority that loved her other adult book, The Casual Vacancy, but I totally, super duper loved it, and I really want to just read everything she writes forever. Reason I haven't bought this yet: adult fiction books are freaking expensive (not that YAs aren't, but still).

9.) The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black- Another that I've heard great things about (particularly a swoony kiss scene that I need to read according to Sabrina), so it's pretty high on my must-own-soon list.

Are any of these ones I need to just scrap the budget on and go buy immediately? What are some of the books that you really want to read but don't own yet?

And I want to read Unremembered, too.
And Nil looks interesting.
OMG you have to read Indelible!!! It's so fantastic! Anna Dressed In Blood and Coldest Girl in coldtown are both fantastic and creepy!
ReplyDelete3, 6, & 7 are awesome reads! I just bought Doon myself last week and cannot wait to read it! And 5 made my list too! Great picks! Hope you get to read them soon!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I wasn't too crazy on Coldest Girl at first but then THAT KISS. Seriously. That was like . . . WOW.
ReplyDeleteI know! There were so many choices to pick from. It could have been a top 50 pick.
ReplyDeleteYay! Glad to hear good things about them!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Making this list made me want to go to the bookstore haha.
ReplyDeleteSo I've heard!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnna Dressed in Blood! The Coldest Girl in Coldtown! You have to read them! ^.^
ReplyDeletehopefully you'll get your hands on the Cuckoo's Calling soon.. it was really good (especially the sequel, the Silkworm)..
ReplyDeleteczai @ the Blacksheep Project
I would have a tough time creating a list like this b/c I'd have to narrow it down to 10. Coldest Girl in Coldtown is one of those for me along with The Vicious Deep.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to at least one of these soon, Samantha!
Anna Dressed in Blood and The Coldest Girl in Coldtown are both really really good! I hope you get a chance to enjoy them!!
ReplyDeleteThose are probably the two I want to read the most on the list. :)
ReplyDeleteI've only read a little Holly Black, but I really need to read more. Glad to hear good things about TB&C! I haven heard a lot of people talk about it.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered it actually! I want to use it for a project. :)
ReplyDeleteIt was so hard to narrow it down!! I had a list of 20 or so off the top of my head, but then I went to buy some books and got several that were on the list.
ReplyDeleteI'm hopefully going to pick them up soon! :)
ReplyDeleteI like your way of narrowing down a list. I'll keep that in mind next time I get in a similar jam. Haha!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I found some new ones that I haven't heard of before :)
ReplyDeleteThat Indelible cover looks gorgeous! Anna Dressed In Blood VERY nearly made my list too (it just about missed a spot). I really want to read it though! Ditto for The Coldest Girl In Coldtown, I really like Holly Black!
ReplyDeleteCheck
out my TTT!

Ihave The Beautiful and the Cursed on my list too. Ieven have the book on audio. One of these days...
ReplyDeleteOne of these days, I will get to The Beautiful and the Cursed, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, and Nil. I own them all but have not read them. I'm with you on Anna Dressed in Blood. I read book two and loved it, but I didn't know at the time it was a sequel.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! That's my favorite part about Top Tens. My TBR list always grows after reading them.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover too! If I remember the description correctly, tattoos play a large part in the story, and I think the cover reflects that (if I'm not mixing it up with something else).
ReplyDeleteI want to try more audio books. I like the idea of them, but I always feel like I can read it faster.
ReplyDeleteThat's probably the top one out of all of these (Anna I mean) that I've heard the best things about.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm pretty sure ADiB will be my next buy now :)
ReplyDeleteYou should try audiobooks! As long as you have a good narrator, they are so enjoyable. If you dont like the book or the narrator you can return the audiobook, no questions asked!
ReplyDeleteAudiobooks have really helped my tbr. Ive read about 125 books so far this year and about 70 of those have been audiobooks :)
If youre intimidated by audiobooks, I recommend listenjng to some of your favorites until you get the hang of it. They do take some getting used to but now I can listen to 3 or 4 audiobooks a week. Publishers are awesome at giving audiobooks for review too. Hope you get to try some!
