Book Description

"When Alyson meets Graham Copeland, the new boy next door, she instantly feels like he’s a kindred spirit—shy and awkward like her, someone who has trouble making friends. It’s impossible to resist having a crush on him.

As usual, her sister, Sydney, sees things differently. In Sydney's mind, Graham's odd personality and secretive past scream psychopath, not sweetheart. Her gut is telling her to stay away from him, and to protect a love-struck Alyson from her own naïveté. But despite her instincts, Sydney is surprised to realize that a part of her is drawn to Graham, too.

And the more Sydney gets to know him, the more she realizes just how right—and wrong—she is about everything.

Perfect for fans of Michelle Hodkin, and E. Lockhart’s We Were Liars, Twisted Fate is an unputdownable novel, teeming with suspense.

Why I'm Waiting:

I think this sounds like the sort of book that slowly builds anxiety and tension until you can't take it for another moment!!!
Plus, its semi-unbelievable comparison to We Were Liars has got me super excited! (Don't mess with me, marketing people! I loved that book!)

What book are you 'waiting' to read?

Leave me a link to your WOW so I can stop by! :)

  3. Oh wow. Sounds like both sisters fall for the guy next door. Drama. I'm intrigued. This boy seems like there's more to him too. Thanks for sharing.

    Happy Hump Day!

  4. Yes! I love the sound of this one. I'm pretty sure I have a review copy from Edelweiss, too...

  5. This one is definitely on my radar. I feel like maybe I have an egalley from EW? I don't even know. That's how out of control my EW is. Zero self-control. Or maybe I just saw this one on Tea Time ARC party? Whatever the case may be, it's on my radar, it sounds awesome and I can't wait to read it. Also Jenna Marbles is hilarious. Thanks for the gif. :)

  6. I'm on the fence with whether I want to read this one or not, but I have a feeling I'll end up reading it! It does sound pretty good.

  7. Hmmm.... I interpreted it way differently as more of a psychological thriller. To each their own! Thanks for stopping by, Garnet!

  8. Weird! You're the second person that has said that. From the We Were Liars reference and the actual synopsis, I don't think the focus will be on any kind of real 'love story' of any shape, but instead more of a suspense/thriller kind of read.

  9. I hope you enjoy it if you do, Kiran!

  10. I am intrigued about what the one sister is 'picking up on' with the guy. I love when intuition proves true, but characters doubt themselves. I'm excited to see what is going to happen! :O

  11. Right! Thank you! I'm shocked that so many people are interpreting the synopsis as a 'drama-filled love triangle.' This has crazy axe-murderer written all over it for me. I think it's going to be effing fantastic. :)

  12. Me too! I'm so intrigued I may read it early. I neeeeeed to know! :)

  13. *snort* I absolutely do. But I know exactly what you mean. My spreadsheet of 'bookish accountability' died months ago. I am an out of control book downloader. *click, click, click* And Jenna Marbles IS hilarious! :)

  14. Right!? I hope it's as good as it sounds!

  15. Thanks! Lori at Imagination Designs (link all the way at the bottom) did the majority of it, but I've changed quite a bit since. She's wonderful to work with. :)

  16. I love the hands held (and twisted slightly) in the cover- does this mean we're in for some tension and twists and turns like you mentioned? Hmm ... This is actually new to me, so I'm definitely going to check Twisted Fate some more Sabrina! :)

  17. I'm so excited for this one! Although I liked the cover that was on the e-ARC better. I'm hoping this is a really good one!

  19. I didn't download this one ... yet. Sibling love triangles are usually a problem for me, but if it's a psychological thriller too, then ... maybe. Let me know after you read it??

  20. I'm gonna wait and read a few reviews before I pick up this book. I really hope it has a very strong thriller aspect.

  21. I haven't read We Weer Liars, so I can't use that as a reference, but I hope there is a very strong suspense angle, because then I'll definitely read this book. I'm gonna wait for a few reviews though! :)

  22. I don't think I realized that's what this book is about! I definitely already have questions that need to be answered. :) Great pick!
